Formalities for motorcycle rental in our office then road to Germany.

You leave France by the bridge of Europe Strasbourg-Kehl.

Departure to Baden-Baden

Ridge Road to the Black Forest, a scenic tourist route, offers many points of beautiful views of the Rhine plain to the Vosges Mountains.

You take the famous Route B500.

By climbing the Bühlerhöhe, it arrives on the Hornisgrinde. The Hornisgrinde is with its 1164 meters the highest peak of the northern Black Forest. On the top, a wind farm. Below, the Mummelsee (1036 m), a glacier lake, there is a number in the region.

Road till Ruhestein Pass.

Further, the protective nature center Ruhestein pass, provides information on the particular characteristics of the region. A few kilometers further, in Schliffkopf, you can borrow an observation trail named Lotharpfad. 

You get to Freudenstadt with its market square surrounded by arcaded houses.

The 404 L, the L96, the B 294, B 33, will lead you to Triberg im Schwartzwald where you will find the 500 B which will take you up to Titisee.

The village of Titisee is located on the north shore of the beautiful lake of the same name, 30 km southeast of Freiburg and 6 km east from Hinterzarten. Neustadt is located five kilometers to the east.

Ride some few kilometers from Schluchsee to reach Titisee

Small glacial lake, construction of a dam in the 30s made it the largest lake in the Black Forest.

Way toward Todtnau

Whether summer or winter, the area offers a framework of pastures and forests in many activities. The first German ski club was founded in 1891 in Todtnau.

You can go see the waterfalls of Todtnau, 94 meters, located between Todtnauberg and Aftersteg.

Enjoy the winding roads of the southern Black Forest Natural Park.

At Breisach am Rhein you will cross the Rhine and return to France.

A stop to the fortified town of Neuf-Brisach is suggested.

Neuf-Brisach, unique in Europe, World Heritage of Unesco, a strategic stopover near the Rhine, built by Vauban in 1699 by order of Louis XIV for the safety of Alsace.

Arrival to Colmar.

Colmar looks like an outdoor museum.

Day 3: COLMAR / STRASBOURG (90 km)

It is in Colmar, the wine capital of Alsace, that is located the House of Alsace wines

Here you are in the perfect place to learn all about the vineyard, AOC, grape varieties and vintage wines from Alsace in particular through an exhibition of objects wine or a video projection.

Departure for a day you will discover a multitude of charming villages more than each other along the wine road of Alsace.

Road till Riquewihr.

Riquewihr is regarded, rightly, as one of the most precious jewels of the region! Known as the pearl of the vineyards, this fortified city finds its origins in the Middle Ages.

Then, proceed to Obernai.

Arrival in Strasbourg in late afternoon and motorcycle drop off.

Strasbourg, capital of Europe and Alsace, has a historical and architectural heritage which makes it the richest city in Alsace.
Its downtown is part of UNESCO World Heritage.
