Day 1: PARIS / HONFLEUR (200 km)

Formalities for bikes rental in our location then road to Normandy midmorning

Arrival in Calvados county by Pont Audemer until Honfleur, with stop and  recommended visit.

The privileged location of Honfleur at the gates of the Pays d'Auge and the Côte Fleurie offers in every season a perfect location.
The small maritime city invites you to discover its picturesque streets and old houses in the heart of a protected area of 37 hectares created in 1974. At the time fishing port, commerce and pleasure, the city has preserved and showcase a rich historical and artistic heritage.
Painters, particularly sensitive in light of the estuary, walk in Honfleur in the eighteenth century. But it is in the early nineteenth century they go there more in the footsteps of the British artist, watercolor and landscape of talent.


After breakfast in your hotel departure to  Deauville.

Deauville once ... Was a small farming village located on Mount Canisy. Grouped around the Saint-Laurent church whose oldest part dates back to the 12th century, the hundred inhabitants of "Dosville" essentially lived off agriculture and livestock.
1975: the American Film Festival was created and made in Deauville, the meeting place of American stars.

Then you take a pretty coastal road to reach Cabourg
Cabourg was formed over the centuries thanks to the growth of a thin sand dunes deposited by winds and currents, gradually closing the vast bay extending from Ouistreham Dives-au-Sauveur ( Dives-sur-Mer today) until Robehomme.

Continuation of your trip toward the D-Day landing beaches.

You will  join a guided tour of the landing beaches in 7 seats van, including the artificial harbor at Arromanches, Pointe du Hoc, the American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer and Omaha Beach. Go back in time and discover the mythical places of D-Day, immortalized in the film "The Longest Day" Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Pegasus Bridge, the Grand Bunker, Holy Mother the Church.
The Normandy invasion began June 6, 1944, when 130,000 men landed on the beaches of Normandy - Operation Overlord began.
This battle represent the turning point of World War II in Western Europe.

Day 3: BAYEUX / PARIS (280 km)

Personal visit of Bayeux.

Bayeux preserves a historic center with a medieval structure. Unscathed from the Allied bombing raids of 1944, it displays an exceptional architectural heritage. Consecrated on 14 July 1077 in the presence of William Duke of Normandy and King of England, the cathedral was the object of extensions and embellishments during the thirteenth in the fifteenth century.
Visit the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy located few minutes from the landing beaches. Located in Bayeux, the first town liberated on the morning of 7 June 1944, has, through its fully redesigned spaces in 2006, a unique and comprehensive evocation of the fighting that took place on the Normandy soil on June 7 to August 29, 1944. effort during this battle for the reconquest of liberty in Europe.

Back to Paris for a travel time that will take the afternoon, while minimizing highways

Arrival in PARIS late afternoon and motorcycle drop off.
