Day 1: PARIS / HONFLEUR (260 km)

Meeting in our local partner office.

Departure toward Rouen and its magnificent cathedral.

Continuation in direction of Etretat.

Courtine Manneporte, the Aval’s door and the Amont’s cliff, the Roc Vaudieu and The Aiguille of Belval, here are the names given to these mysterious sculpture cut by the waves in the chalk and flint of the Caux’s plateau.

Road to reach Honfleur crossing the impressive Pont de Normandie, which spans the Seine River linking Le Havre to Honfleur.

Honfleur is a small medieval town, it reveals her riches to all those who take the time to look…

Visit of a distillery and cider tasting.


Day 2: HONFLEUR / BAYEUX (215 km)

Departure in direction of Caen passing by Deauville.

Visit of Pegasus Bridge Museum in Benouville.

Inaugurated on June 4th 2000 by HRH the Prince of Wales. The Memorial Pegasus is dedicated to the men of 6th Airborne Division and their role during the Battle of Normandy from June to September 1944. Guided visit, within a thematically laid out exhibition hall, enable the visitors to discover the missions of the division.

Road toward Caen.

Continuation until the Hambye Abbey then the Castel of Balleroy.

Benedictine abbey of the 12th century founded on the banks of the river Sienne. Classified as a Historic Monument. One of the most complete medieval monastic buildings in Lower Normandy. Some of the convent buildings are private.


Day 3: BAYEUX / ISIGNY SUR MER
(85 km)

Guided tour scheduled for visiting the D-Day landing beaches.

Then road to Arromanches and stop at the D-Day Museum then at the Omaha Beach Memorial Museum in Saint Laurent sur Mer.

On June 6th 1944, the allies landed on the beaches of Normandy. Discover the history of World War II by visiting the museums in Bessin: from the D-Day Beaches of Juno, Gold and Omaha to the Battle of Normandy.

                  
Day 4: ISIGNY SUR MER / BARNEVILLE-CARTERET
(170 km)

Today you will visit different museums recounting the Story of the Landing in Normandy:

Dead Man’s Corner Museum the D-Day paratrooper’s historical center, where you will live the “D-day experience” in a glider, then Utah Beach Museum and finally the Airborne Museum.

Road toward Barneville-Carteret.

Carteret, at the entrance of the access channel, is a fishing and sailing harbour offering safe shelter to fishermen and teams of sailing boat, plying along the harbours of the Manche, Brittany and the Anglo Norman islands. The sea-side part, built on the cape at the beginning of the sea bathing fashion has kept its look from 1900 with its hotels, houses and parks.


Day 5: BARNEVILLE-CARTERET / AVRANCHES
(170 km)

Visit of a Cheese Factory and tasting.

Road in direction of the famous Mont Saint Michel and guided tour.

Come and discover the Mont-Saint-Michel and its abbey on the border between Normandy and Brittany, one of the first sites to obtain UNESCO World Heritage listing.

Then road until Avranches.

Discover the treasures of Avranches.

The city will unveil during your wanderings, its remarkable heritage and magnificent views of the Mont Saint-Michel and its bay.


Day 6: AVRANCHES / PONT L’EVEQUE
(170 km)

Road toward Pont l’Eveque passing by Condé-sur-Noireau, Falaise and Cambremer.

We will do a little loop in the Swiss Normandy.

Formed over the centuries by weather and geology, this small corner of Normandy offers breathtaking panoramas set upon an exceptionally diverse landscape.

Arrival in Pont l’Evêque.

Ten minutes from the Côte Fleurie, the city of Pont L’Evêque, nestled in the valley
Touques, condenses all the charms of Normandy half-timbered buildings colors red/brown, blue or green, lot of watercourses (three Touques, Calonne and Yvie rivers), green hilly, local cuisine (the famous Pont l’Evêque, Normandy cider).


Day 7: PONT L’EVEQUE / PARIS / DEPARTURE
(250 kms)

Departure in direction of Paris passing by Chartres.

Return your vehicles at the rental station and take TGV or flight to your home.

In option, we could propose extra stay in Paris (different hotel categories)
